Many of you know that I like to ask the question "Is it art as jewelry or jewelry as art?"

Well, let me introduce you to Peter Schmid & Atelier Zobel and you decide!  Representing everything that Max's seeks to find in what we bring to you in terms of design, quality and overall artistry, we couldn’t be more excited honored to celebrate this milestone with him joining us for a beautiful and fun-filled weekend.

Not familiar with Peter?  Here’s a bit of an introduction.  He is sometimes referred to as a 'stone whisperer.' He sees it as central to his craft to know gemstones intimately, as individual personalities. Atelier Zobel creates one-of-a-kind jewelry for one-of-a-kind people. Not for those who seek to be defined by a brand, but for those who use jewelry as a form of personal expression - something that reflects who they are, rather than what they are expected to be. To Atelier Zobel, each piece is not simply purchased, it is adopted - becoming part of someone's personal story?  Intrigued?  I think you should be – he’s truly one of a kind and not to be missed!

In addition to a trunk show of so many beautiful pieces created by Peter and Atelier Zobel, the studio has designed and signed some pieces that are exclusive to us in celebration of our 20 year milestone.  You can also bring your existing jewelry that you’re not wearing or loose stones that you have and sit down for a custom design session with Peter so that he can bring new life to what you already own.

An finally, you’re invited to raise a glass with us and toast 20 years of friendship! Leslee Miller of Amusee will be with us on Friday for wine and chocolate pairing!
