Disa was born in London and grew up in Barbados. This special island really influenced her jewellery designs, visible in her use of colourful gemstones. Disa personally selects each stone such as golden citrines, warm garnets, rubies, sapphires and morganites.

A large percentage of the metal Disa uses to create her jewellery is recycled gold and silver. Disa has built up a reputation as a skilled jeweller when working with the sometimes unpredictable metals. The majority of the metal used is sourced from the heart of the jewellery district in Central London. Hallmarking is an integral part of the work to certify the precious metals used. All of the jewellery is handmade in Disa’s London studio.
